A Mitzvanitiation bar or bat mitzvah experience - with me or those I've trained - empowers students to lead prayers, chant torah, and teach their community from a place of joy, confidence and connectedness.
Ceremonies include core elements of a traditional Shabbat service while engaging and educating participants of all ages and across diverse Jewish and multi-faith backgrounds. This means plenty of Hebrew prayers grandparents will recognize, abundant English for those who have no idea whats going on, and a sweet blend of formality and informality to satisfy and inspire across the board.
A Mitzvanitiation b-mitzvah ceremony brings new life to ancient traditions...and is fabulously fun!
The experience of becoming a bar or bat mitzvah can be deeply rooted in Jewish tradition while also being relevant and meaningful for todays pre-teens. We support students in confident and connected leadership. We involve families in the preparation process and ceremony crafting. We invite all present to participate fully and with gusto, however is right for them. We educate those in the mix about the whys of what we are up to. We cultivate deep and lasting connections to Jewish tradition. We empower students and families to make Jewish tradition(s) their own.
